In 2025, ICARO entered into a strategic alliance with TechIns Group, strengthening its technological capabilities and expanding its vision for integrated risk management and security solutions. As part of this alliance, TechIns Group CEO Leonidas Diamantopoulos acquired a 50% participation in ICARO, reinforcing the company’s strategic direction and accelerating the integration of technology, artificial intelligence, and advanced digital systems into its services.

In 2025, ICARO entered into a strategic alliance with TechIns Group, strengthening its technological capabilities and expanding its vision for integrated risk management and security solutions. As part of this alliance, Leonidas Diamantopoulos, CEO of TechIns Group, became a 50% shareholder of ICARO, reinforcing the company’s strategic direction and accelerating the integration of technology, artificial intelligence, and advanced digital systems into its services.

Leonidas Diamantopoulos is the founder and CEO of TechIns Group, an international technology group focused on Artificial Intelligence, automation, custom software, CRM solutions, and digital transformation. Under his leadership, TechIns Group serves more than 2,400 SaaS users and has delivered over 70 custom software projects across multiple industries, supported by a team of more than 40 professionals. His focus is on turning technology into measurable business value and helping organizations become more efficient, competitive, and future-ready.

Experience and track record

  • More than 30 years of experience drawn from a strong public and technical career.
  • 28 years of professional service in the National Navy, with roles in strategic infrastructure protection, high-risk operations, and security management in settings such as the Coveñas oil complex and high-complexity zones in Guaviare, Caquetá, and Meta, as well as port cities such as Cartagena on the Caribbean and Buenaventura on the Pacific.
  • More than 10 years leading risk management projects for the maritime, port, and logistics sector in Colombia, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, El Salvador, and Ecuador.
  • Specialized training in ISO 31000, International BASC Auditor, PBIP, and Lean Six Sigma.
